Stepping BackStepping back from it, I suppose you could say That everything we did Was wrongStepping Back
But you were lonely And so was I And she brought us together So together we stayed
(Were both at fault)
But it went too far Our friendship became too real And it hurt her In the worst way
But we couldnt see that. Or if we did, We pushed it away Because we were only thinking of ourselves.
Two loners Who just wanted a different kind of friend, Who sought it in the wrong people.

Waiting for a CrackShe's shattering into a thousand pieces but no one seems to care. Or maybe they just haven't noticed. Maybe this mask that she puts on, the one that says, "I'm fine!" hasn't cracked quite yet. But she's waiting for it to break because if it doesn't, she's going to suffocate under the mask she has created, to hide herself. She needs someone to care, to lift her up. She can't do this alone. Under the weight, she's pleading for salvation. But no one can hear her scream.Waiting for a Crack
